This Christmas break from school has been a very busy one for us. During this time we try to arrange for our kids to visit relatives in their home villages. Many of our kids have an aunty or grandma still living, and we are able to send the kids for a brief visit to help them maintain a sense of connection. Some children who have no living relatives that we are aware of get to go on a trip with their house parents. It is a good thing for them to have experience outside the four walls of KKV.
We are very honored as Kings Kids Village to have been chosen to receive this year’s Good Samaritan Award. It was presented to KKV in recognition and appreciation for humanitarian and charitable accomplishments. An award and certificate signed by the director of the festival and the Speaker of the Kenya National Assembly were presented at Jesus Breakthrough Assembly Nairobi. To God be the glory.
Construction of our new facility continues. We are so excited that the foundation has been poured, and it is so great to be able to watch the miracle unfold before our eyes.
Until next week…
