We have all had times in our lives when we wonder how we will get through without going a little insane. The last couple of weeks have been that way around here. The great part of it all is knowing that God is in control and His grace is sufficient for every circumstance that may come our way.
Some of our challenges this month have been… Our driver has been on leave to settle his children in a boarding school. We have two houses with parents on leave. We also have two other house helpers on leave, one of them being maternity leave. Now on top of that, last week one of our aunties (who doubles as one of our teachers) found out that her mom passed away, so she needed time off for funeral arrangements to be made. During her time off she became ill and required extra time. This week we also found out that one of our house mom’s lost her brother, and she and her husband will need time off for that funeral.
Needless to say, life is very hectic around KKV trying to maintain a staff of twenty four workers. The great news is that we have a wonderful team here who are all willing to go the extra mile for the kids. From directors and co-directors all the way to our house help, our team has pulled together in this time, and we are moving forward by God’s grace.
In all of this, you, our readers and supporters, are so vital as we labor to fulfill the vision of Kings Kids Village. There are always challenges, some great and some small, but we can’t do this without God’s grace and your prayers and support. Besides the immediate need of keeping things running, we are also believing for a Godly set of house parents to step forward and fill the more long term need we are facing in Apartment C. We also ask that if you are not presently supporting us financially that you would consider getting involved at some level, either sponsoring a Kings Kid, helping us build our Education Complex or giving a general donation. Every gift, regardless of size, helps in the care of our 40 kids. God bless you.

Would you send us your email address so that we may correspond with you about any church issues? Marilyn Wynstra will be contacting you as she is presenting children of our supported missionaries.
