This is a new day at Kings Kids Village. We are in the middle of a campaign to secure local corporate sponsorship for KKV. For those of you who know us well, you know Molly and I are not professional marketers or exceptionally gifted at public relations… So the question begs to be asked how this all came about. Well, I’m glad you asked… God sent us an angel. Simple as that… in the form of Rita Mutegi, an experienced publicist who just happens to be between jobs and thought she would give her time and talents to the Lord on behalf of an orphanage, Kings Kids Village. 
Since she showed up to volunteer in June of 2008, we have been seeing some pretty amazing stuff. We have been featured in one of Kenya’s national papers and on Kenya’s premier Network news show. Not only that, Rita is in the midst of planning a corporate sponsorship banquet at one of Nairobi’s top hotels on August 8th. We are really excited at the interest that has already been expressed by corporates and also all we have talked to since the press coverage…
