Superabundantly Far Over and Above

Ephesians 3:20 (AMP) says “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams.” Since our last update, we have continued to see God’s hand of blessing and favor upon us.  We were blessed with an additional 90 kgs. of maize. Immediately after the initial overwhelming gratitude, we were reminded of the story of the 3 lepers who found the entire enemy camp deserted. We felt, as they did, that it would be wrong to keep all this abundance for us alone. As a result, we made a choice to share some of our blessing of maize with our dear friends at Ahadi and Rehema homes. Even as God told Abraham that he was blessed to be a blessing, so we have been, by God’s goodness and grace, placed in the same position.

Shortly after this wonderful opportunity, 13 of our kids went to the Nairobi Korean Church to represent KKV in a competition that was held there. Florence, our pre-school teacher, spent much time with the kids as they rehearsed a poem entitled “Extraordinary,” which Molly Stern wrote.  After competing with 19 other children’s home, they were awarded first place! Not only were we given a beautifully framed certificate, we were awarded a brand new washing machine. As the kids were riding into the compound,  they were singing songs of thanksgiving to God. We are so thankful to God for the great things He has done, and proud of our kids for their hard work and good attitudes during the many long practices. God is faithful!
